Mango Lassi

Recipe: Mango Lassi

           (आम की लस्सी )

Summary: A perfect blend of Yogurt(dahi), milk with Mangoes.


Ingredients

  • 4 Alphonso Mangoes, peeled and cut into cubes, (aam)
  • 2 cup yogurt(dahi)
  • 1 cup Milk ( doodh)
  • 6 tbsp sugar, (Cheeni/shakkar)
  • ½ tsp dry ginger powder, (saunth)
  • 10 ice cubes
  • 4 tsp Pistachios,chopped- for garnish.
  • 2 tsp Almonds(badam)Mango Lassi

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut mangoes and put into a blender.
  2. Add yogurt, sugar, milk and ginger powder.
  3. Now add ice cubes and blend till the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with pistachio flakes.
  5. Serve chilled.
